HOW TO EXHIBIT YOUR WORK AT EFFE LEVEN GALLERY

Effe Leven gallery offers artists and photographers, of ALL experience levels (from students and hobbiests to professionals), the opportunity to have their work exhibited at our gallery. We offer multiple packages, ranging from a FREE month-long digital exhibitions for student/hobby artists to two week and month long 'wall hung' exhibitions for established artists and those exhibition to sell their work or to gain established artist exposure benefits.

We also offer two week and one-monthed themed exhibit opportunities with Artists Exhibition Receptions. During these special receptions the gallery provides an evening of wine, cheese and cultural interaction where the exhibiting artists and their work are the main focus. Please inquire for more details.

To get started, email us some samples of the work you wish to exhibit CLICK HERE, or call 312.643.5444 to schedule an appointment with our director, to bring your printed work in to the gallery. After we have reviewed your work, we will contact you shortly thereafter with our decision.

Once accepted to display your work at Effe Leven Gallery, you will need to meet with us here at the gallery to schedule your exhibit date(s), choose your wall space, and fill out the exhibit agreement and paperwork.

We offer the following opportunities to have your work exhibited at Effe Leven Gallery :

STANDARD EXHIBITION PACKAGE:

Effe Leven Gallery offers artists guaranteed exhibition space as part of our themed and general exhibitions. Standard wall size is approximately five feet in width. Each exhibit is curated with the curator determining wall placement and artwork to be exhibited chosen from work submitted by the artist for consideration. Artist may exhibit up to nine pieces based on size and approval of the curator.

 To exhibit for one month*: $475.00 ($575.00 for larger wall size)
To exhibit for two weeks: $275.00 ($375.00 for larger wall size)
Commission rate of sales is 50%
Terms 50% Down and balance due at close of the exhibition.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WALL RENTAL AND COMMISSION RATE
Please Note: We do not charge BOTH a wall rental fee AND a fifty percent commission rate. Exhibitors are required to pay a wall rental rate to reserve exhibition space. In the event that the artist's work has been sold and the commission due to the gallery is greater than the wall rental fee the gallery will return the original wall rental amount to the artist and shall retain the fifty percent commssion earned. In the event the commission earned from the sale of the artists work is less than the original wall rental fee, the gallery will retain the original amount of the wall rental fee only.

The Standard Exhibition Package GUARANTEES your work will be exhibited.
DYNAMIC DIGITAL DISPLAY EXHIBITION PACKAGE:

Effe Leven Gallery is excited to offer all artists the opportunity to exhibit their work digitally at our River North gallery. Beginning October 1st the gallery will have one of our exhibit walls equipped with a 42” high-definition digital display unit that will display the work of up to one hundred artists continuously and during all business hours, artist receptions, private parties, exhibitions, etc. It is an ENORMOUS opportunity to exhibit and keep your work in front of the eyes of gallery visitors, exhibitors, corporate buyers, art consultants, critics, and the like.

Artist may change which artwork is being displayed once per month.

To digitally exhibit pieces for one month: $95.00
To digitally exhibit 3 pieces for ninety days: $195.00
To digitally exhibit up to 5 for one year: $495.00
Commission rate of sales is 50%

Effe Leven Gallery is currently seeking all levels of artists and photographers to exhibit their work in our upcoming exhibitions, as we still have some space available.
